In the counseling profession for over 30 years, I have also conducted EFP (equine-facilitated psychotherapy) for 24 0f those years.  My specialty areas include post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) including violence and abuse; conduct disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, as well as personality disorders.  In addition, I've worked with juvenile capital & sex offenders for over 22years.

I lecture nationally and internationally on the subject of EFP, including training therapists and riding professionals.

I've been an active member of PATH- Int'l, formerly NARHA and the Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association (EFMHA) since 1995.  During this time I have been on the board and education committee, developing and teaching curriculum for therapeutic riding instructors and am currently on the PATH, EAAT Task Force.

I am born horse lover and have been riding English for thirty years.
