EFP  IS DEFINED AS AN INTERACTIVE PROCESS IN WHICH A LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL WORKING WITH/AS AN APPROPRIATELY CREDENTIALED EQUINE PROFESSIONAL, PARTNERS WITH SUITABLE EQUINE(S) TO ADDRESS PSYCHOTHERAPY GOALS SET FORTH BY THE MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL AND THE CLIENT.

EFP is an experiential treatment approach that provides the individual with opportunities to enhance self-awareness and repattern maladaptive behaviors, feelings, and attitudes.

Leslie offers comprehensive psychotherapy for children, teens and young adults. In order to provide each youth with  an individualized program, Leslie will utilize cognitive, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, reality therapy, art, relaxation, experiential and equine-facilitated interventions. Clients will talk and allow themselves to feel when moving, breathing and relating ~ there's not much "sitting around and talking about it' going on around here!

Leslie typically has appointments Tuesday through Thursday and on Saturdays. This is subject to change based on time of year and amount of clients attending treatment.

 Schedules may also change due to inclimate weather, holidays, and school vacations.
